Join a supportive health care community

Program Overview

The CARE (Claim Allowance for Relocation Expenses) in Montana Program offers participants up to $12,500 to cover your moving expenses when you relocate to Montana for an eligible health care job.

Reimbursement for your move won't be all you gain. When you relocate to Montana, you'll join a community that values your work and supports your career growth.

You'll also benefit from the slower pace and our outstanding quality of life, including access to recreational opportunities, that make Montana a great place to live.

Health care workers who work in nearly 80 different types of jobs and who don't currently live in Montana are eligible for the relocation incentive. If that's you, we invite you to search for a qualified job opening with a participating employer in Montana.

Application Process

The application process is as easy as applying for any other job. Browse job listings and apply to positions that fit your skills.

The jobs on this site are preapproved for reimbursement. Once you're hired and move to Montana, you'll submit your relocation receipts to your employer, and they'll take care of the rest.

You'll receive up to $12,500 for your moving expenses, plus an additional 35% to offset taxes associated with the reimbursement.

Eligible moving expenses include hiring a moving company or moving truck, travel and lodging, licensing fees to practice in Montana, and more. View the full list of eligible and ineligible expenses here.
